X'mas here again + update of recent events

Yeah... neglected my usual blogging... guess it has become a habit for me to only blog my recent events just before my leave started or during my leave time.

Well, update of recent events... Had completed the JLPT 4 exams in December, went to Hong Kong for a training seminar for a week, attended a friend's wedding dinner, started on a new engagement, signed the first lease of agreement for the BTO, attended the annual dept's X'mas dinner, started the 2nd semester of my jap lessons and now heading towards a short week holiday.

Ok, actually might be having a small panic about what's to come in January where the big peak is really coming... hehz... now wondering if i can deal with it. Of cos, for this year as my portfolio had changed significantly, i don't really feel any sense of ownership of my jobs... hehz... which is really kind of different from last year's scenario. But naturally, i think that my job performance might not have been reasonably good since last year... hahhahah... i don't know if it's because the change in mindset or attitude. Anyway, all's well ends well. Hope everything will turn out ok... hahahha.

This's year's X'mas and New Year, wonder how should i spend it with zx. I have totally no ideas on how to spend it? Frankly, I have zero ideas of what to do or what other alternatives that I can look to that is different from our usual celebration methods... hahhah... Think i'm getting really stoned and don't know what to do. I'm no romantic so I'm not sure what are the kinds of celebration methods or places to go where it's nice to be at with zx. Hahahah....

Opps... getting stoned while blogging... guess i better stop here... hehz... really getting old..hahaah

Start of prep lessons

Yesterday just had my 1st lesson for JLPT 4 prep lesson. It's the first out of the 5 lessons. It's pretty different from the normal lessons with the teacher doing most of the talking and quick review of the various grammer structure that are frequently tested in JLPT 4.

One of my fellow classmates asked if i had taken jlpt 4 before and wondered why did i not go for jlpt 3 1st as he thought my standard was pretty ok. Well, i just quickly brushed off an answer saying that i thot i want to start from jlpt 4 onwards. hahahha...

Well, my jap studies wasn't entirely done in a smooth flow. After my 2 semesters of jap lang studying in NTU which helped to lay down my foundations, thereafter i studied at Bunka which introduced me to a few more grammer forms before i finally settle at ikoma now which adopts the teaching style similar to that of NTU's. Because of the school hopping, there was definitely some grammer forms that were missed though they are not too difficult to master or memorize cos of my regular viewing of animes and listening of jpop.

I've also come to realise the different teaching points at the 2 different language schools that i've attended. But ultimately, for language learning, it is really important to know a lot of vocab and also practice @ conversation and listening. If not, it is really difficult to move on to higher levels or even to become proficient at the language.

Anyway, think i might have caught a bit of the cold or something like that. The nose had been rather runny since saturday morning and the throat getting sore and stuff like that. Wonder if i can get any mc out of that.... hahhha... haven't been utilising my mc ne. hahhahah

Back to work

Hehz... feel so sianz.. tml's the d-day where i had to head back to work. Wonder if i am really not as focused and interested in work anymore.. hehz.... getting bored and dun feel like working. but no other job options had kinda resulted in me not being able to move out... hehz...

so should i really consider accepting some of the other jobs that i originally rejected??? hehz

but really dun feel like... cos it might get bored. but maybe the routine life will enable me to get more things done for my private life... get more things learnt, enter more courses.... hahahahah... maybe.... thinking abt wat to do next. haiz... it's kinda sad that i've been blabbering about leaving my current job and moving to another.

But it doesn't seem to be very easy for the jobs to come by ne... hahhhah.... but not really feeling like continuing my current job for another year..... hehz... but the economy may also be slightly preventing me from the job changing... hhehz....

New tech

It's been a long time since i've blogged an entry again... hahahha.... yes it's the same old reason ok, been busy and don't feel like writing my entry. hahahhah.... think i totally missed out blogging my taipei trip this year. And i've decided to skip it and instead blog on my new found tech stuff, a new jap hp 923sh.

I finally got my white 923sh last wednesday. And Zx did pull a little trick on me when i told him to order my phone last monday/tuesday where he slyly shook off saying why not wait around and see. hahaha... and he surprised me with the phone on wednesday nite. hahah... Though the phone may have cost me quite a bomb... but thought it was still alrite cos it's an exotic phone that is not commonly seen used here. Of course, there are definitely some hindrances with using the exotic phones since they are not fully compatible with local network. But i guess i can still deal with those problems. hee hee...

Though zx have been irritated by the needs to do cpr for my phone where network signals are lost easily, i think i can still manage. hahahah Worst comes to worst, i'll just need to change my sim card if my sim card isn't that stable. hahhhahahaha.....

ok, now just show the image of the phone that i bought, pls note that the phone i bought is white colour and not the wine red here. hehhehehe

Wedding.. Jap lessons... Goal setting...

Well.... finally decided to write something for the previous blog draft that i started 1 mth ago... hahha... well..it's a sunny sunday morning... and i woke up early around 9am due to my need to go to the toilet... nevertheless... i didn't want to go back to bed since i've already woken up... so i started streaming shugo chara 40 on veoh... since i didn't manage to stream it the night before due to disruptions to the internet connection... hahahha... Sheepy must be screaming "Otaku..." at me.... hahahha....

Probably start with the latest news before i move on the news that occured like 2 -3 weeks ago... Yesterday was the 2nd Jap lesson for my intermediate 1 lesson... hahahha think the teacher got improved a bit from the 1st lesson from his teaching.. but still trying to get used to it.. whahha.. i was telling my bf who was attending the same class as me that think the lessons that we took NTU actually laid quite a good foundation for us when learning japanese at the schools outside... haha... and i was telling my bf that actually expanding our vocabulary, knowing more words would be very important in our learning of Japanese....So will contine to keep up my watching of anime raws, jpop music and maybe anime magazines.... hahhahahaha

Just did my annual goal setting with my manager this friday... though he already mentioned that the goals set should be as specific as possible and not too general... the goals that i've set don't seem to make the mark of specific... hahahha... and my usual career aspiration was to move up to the next grade... he was commenting on what kind of aspiration was that... hahahha and i crapped that i am 胸无大志. He just laughed it off... which i think he knows that i'm kinda on the edge... thinking of moving off... which i had been telling him honestly that i would really want to move on early this year.. but i haven't done so due to me not being able manage to find a job that i would want and that would want me..... hahahahah..... But frankly speaking, it's kinda hard for me to leave... think i love my colleagues.. enjoy working with them... the silly things we laughed... the application of accounting terms in our life.. describing situations... laughing off at how we are attached to our work... but think that i might have to move on to another phase of my life where i need a more regular lifestyle.... truthfully, i think i'm blessed for my portfolio throughout my work life... i may not have met that much difficulties or hardships compared to other colleagues which i'm kinda grateful for but also it may have been huge opportunities to learn things from...
But i guess... one shouldn't be too greedy i guess... wanting the best of many worlds.... though i still think that i have lots to learn in the industry.. but the irregular lifestyle during the peak periods and also possibly i feel that i am not such a good guide in coaching plus think i'm not really liking the new batch of ppl... or rather i am not proactive or motivated to know them... think i'm gradually becoming a anti-social loner...hahahhahah that i think maybe i'm getting bored in the environment... so probably a change in the environment would do me good... to get me back to have some interests in work.. whahhahah.... or maybe i want my time for me to spend with bf, friends, family and self improvement.....

Weddings bells rang for Mashi too... when she was proposed to by Roy san.. and we saw the "big" proposal ring... hahahha.. and hear about the process of the selection of the bridal studio and also the dates, and the choosing of hotels for the ROM solemnization... hahhahahah.. Congrats to Mashi.... hearing good news and witnessing the wedding of good friends... kinda make one wanna get married.... hahahha.. but it's a tiring, expensive and arduous task.. requiring lots of calling, walking, comparing, thinking and finance planning.... before the task can be completed.. hopefully it'll be successful... or it might become one of the best tool for couples to use during their quarrels... hahahhaha....

Next is the earliest event after my previous blog entry which is Sheepy's wedding.... it was the first time ever that i had stayed overnight at a friend's place.... Due to distance between my place and Sheepy's place and knowing my bad habits at over-sleeping... i decided to stay overnight at Sheepy's place so that i can wake up on time and be at her house at the stipulated time period... But think the bride and bridge groom probably had the toughest day for them... the bride needed to wake up super early to get the make up done and put on her long white gown.... the gowns that Sheepy wore were pretty.... and i think that she's quite quick at changing her clothes... whahhaha.... think i'm drifting away from my description of the wedding.. so i'm cutting it short... overall i had a fun time being the 姐妹... though factually it wasn't my first time.. but it was actually the first time that i had so much participation in.. thinking of how to 整the groom, asking him questions, helping out with the change of clothes and accessories of the bride... helping at the reception.... help to carry the gown's long chain... hahhahah it was fun...
but i guess by the time for my wedding... it would have been really tiring... hahahha... lots of planning to do.. need to get guests lists, table setting... gifts, getting 姐妹 to help out...to decide on the venue of the wedding dinner and such.... a whole long list of things to do in order to create the show of our lifetime... hahahhahaha

Weekend...PC show, new dress, new bags

Opps... finally met with with CT and gang on Friday for the sisters' discussion... due to work commitments... i was only able to meet up with them for like 20 mins and an additional 15-20 mins on the cab ride home... So their discussion had already ended by the time i reached the restaurant... and the end product was that CT will send me the itinerary and the too do things via email... so all i had to do was to check and read my mail.... hahhaha.. probably will ask her on msn on Mon while in office... hahaha...

Due to the joyous occasion, i thot i had to get something decent and appropriate to her wedding dinner and had spend probably a few hours walking around in Suntec, Marina and also Tiong Bahru before finding a dress that i thot would be ok to wear to a wedding dinner... it's a new type of dress which i haven't wore before... hahhahah...it has some pink prints..hahha.. .can you imagine me wearing pink???

Oppss... the short meeting on Friday with CT and gang also allowed me to get my coach bags which i had previously asked to help me buy... the wristlet came in a box which was unexpected... though both were supposed to be black.. my handle pouch turn out to be alright.... not as fully black... hahhaha Now... i wonder when will i start to use them...ehhehehe....

By the way, this year's PC show.... there are definitely a lot of ppl... as usual.. however there appears to be lesser stalls i thot at the exhibition halls... but probably it's alright since all the major pc brandnames there... and it makes walking through the stalls slightly easier with more space... just that the walkways at the entrances and exits are still rather squeezy... after going through all the pc stalls, zx haven't really managed to decide on which brands of laptop he was going to buy.. though at the end of Saturday... we were mainly looking at whether to buy the Asus or the Toshiba's laptop.. and he was going to Suntec to buy the laptop on Sunday...

Sunday afternoon where zx finally reached, he called and told me that one of the Toshiba laptops he was eyeing yesterday had already been fully sold and the other one had only about 6 sets left... so he had to decide on which laptop model he wanted to buy.... and in the end... it was neither Toshiba nor Asus... he bought a NEC laptop... which was kinda unexpeceted for me... but thot it was alright... the NEC laptop had its parts manufactured in Japan and assembled in M'sia... which zx thot would have not bad quality... and the laptop had some eco saving program which would allowed him to save more electricity when using the laptop...

Update

Lately... haven't really gathered my attention to focus on writing for my blog... other than the usual excuse of not having enough time and probably also the lack of interesting events to talk about... well... been able to go on a short trip and got a tan from the 3 hr swim at the swimming pool... the trip was kinda relaxing... where i din have to spend too much thinking of what to do...

Next.. was to plan a longer trip with my bf like the Taiwan trip which we had been talking about since last year... hahaha... and think it's finally going to materialise this year.... been to a few travel agencies the last weekend at Outram Park... whilst going through the different packages offered by the various agencies... I've also managed to get some new CDs of old songs like the compilation of Jimmy Lin's songs... the old Boyz II Men album that my old cassette broke... hahaha... and also the tunes of the 2008 Olympics....

Passed....

Yeah.... today... passed two tests... 1 is the japanese lesson placement test where i manage to get 69/80 and can officially jump class to intermediate 1 skipping elementary 1 lesson.... hahhahaha

Another test result that arrived today was the pre-admission test that i took like 7 weeks ago... and i passed... though the whole lesson lasted for 1 week and the cost of the course was like $500 plus... the result slip appeared to be rather simple... hahhhaha... but anyways... now could apply to change my membership from a provisional one to a full member le ba....hahahahha

Good news for a Monday.... no blues today.... this week is a short week too .... hahah.. with Labour Day - public holiday on a thursday....=)

Want a simple life

yes... it's that time of the year again... hahhah .... all too frequently... an impulse or a sudden rush of feelings... wanting to escape from work... wanting to regain control over time... i promise myself that this is the year... after this year... no more... I want control over my life .... and time.... hehehee....

But of cos, there is always someone out there who may continue to suan me for not meeting the KPI and also the likelihood of me continuing to work until i get promoted and incidentally stay on for a few more years.... hahahah....

but nevertheless... i'll meet my own KPI... = )

Bird's eye view

The sudden turn of weather in the late afternoon posed a question mark as to whether our pre-booked Singapore Flyer Flight was going to be disrupted by the rain or will we get to enjoy the sunshine after the rain...... hehehhe...

Luckily for us, the rain stopped and we managed to get a clear view on our first flight on the Singapore Flyer. I originally booked the flight as part of celebrating zx's birthday... and I'm pretty glad that i did since it was our first time riding the Singapore Flyer. Our scheduled timeslot was 7pm but as we reached there around half hour earlier as suggested in our tickets and there was not much queue.... we managed to get on the Flyer approximately 15 mins earlier than scheduled.

Wonder if it's the weather or the timing, there weren't too much crowd and we were kinda glad that we got that timing... the sun wasn't too shiny and there wasn't any rain... however due to the previous downpour, there were rain drops on capsules... therefore, it kinda affected the pictures taken.

This is one of the few pics taken with main focus of the CBD office buildings and the construction of IR in the foreground.....

This is the east side of Singapore.... it may not show well in this pic... but in real life.. we could see really far.... hehehhe

A note aside, I'm a person who has great fear of heights.... i mean i really do feel insecure when standing at high places.... for those who had been with me at the tree top walk at MacRitchie Reservoir or the Luge at Sentosa..... Despite the height when at the tip of the wheel (163m above sea level), I felt ok and wasn't too terrified.... so i guess i could recommend those who are also scared of heights to try Singapore Flyer for a paranomic view of the whole Singapore.... of course i do think that i'll probably go back for the ride a second time when the IR is completed..... heheh... to compare the view...

There are also a couple of interesting restaurants and shops located at the Singapore Flyer 'complex' like the Popeyes - Chicken and biscuits which serves fastfood set meals with tvs showing Popeyes cartoon... Here's a pic of the restaurant from the outside after we've finished our dinner.... The mash potato gravy served in the set i ordered tasted quite nice and different from the normal ones we've tasted at the Colonel's....

Last of all, a night shot of the wheel before we finally leave....

Work again

For the last week, I had been attending the pre-admission course so that i can get CPA Singapore.... and the final test was conducted on friday. 1 and 1/2 hours test for 125 questions.... i wonder if i can pass since the requirement was to obtain a pass in each module... hehz.. I really hate to take a replacement test again..... hahhah... my results will come via post in 6 - 8 weeks... will talk about my results when i get them.... hahahah

Yesterday, managed to go cycling at East Coast Park and get some sun light.... though the weather was kinda hot, it was still a good time for cycling... feeling the wind in my face and enjoying the music on my zen stone plus... heheh... Haven't relax in a long time lez.. but next week, it;s back to work again....hehz.. getting very sianz...

Ele 1 jap results

Got my results today via sms for last week sat's jap test.... got a perfect score both for oral and written test..... hahaha.... Next up, think me and bf will study for the placement test and skip the ele 2 lesson...

Today's lesson ended early today and i managed to get a hair cut.... though the hairdresser did ask if i wanted to do any rebonding... hahah.. but it'll take 2 and 1/2 hrs which i dun think i'll have the time yet... hehz....

Tired

疲れた..... that's all I want to say.....

Work has been taking up quite a lot of my time... Feel like i should go for a break/change... though to others, I maybe quite lucky with less stress and problems...cos i don't hold as heavy a portfolio like some others.... I still want to move on and try something different.... though I may have boldly answered during my 1st interview i would say that i would be working at the same firm with maybe time to manage a side business 10 years down the road.... hahahha..... Kinda hard to achieve that i think....

Anyways... reaching the end of my elementary 1 lesson for japanese at Bunka Lang.... next wondering if i should take elementary 2 or should i try to take the placement test and skip the next level... hehz....

1st day of a new year!

This is the first entry of the year... yesterday was 31 December 2007 and as usual, me and zx went on our own to spend the last night of the year together.... Despite the half day declared by the Company, i was still in office at around 4 plus before i decided to carry back my laptop home. After the quick shower and change of clothes, I met up with zx and decided to have our dinner at Dohby Ghaut....

By the time we got there to have our dinner, it was already 8 pm plus... and when we finally finished dinner. It was already 8.30pm and there was not too many stores open for us to shop around. Anyways, we did not really have any intention to shop around. We just wanted to hang around and chill till after midnight.

Our final destination before we went home was at the coffee bean at Plaza by the Park. While we were chilling at coffee bean, we saw lots of people strolling by heading towards padang or the merlion park where they could get a good location to view the fireworks when the clock strikes 12. In the end, we merely caught a glimpse of the fireworks which weren't part of our itinerary for the night as the previous year we already had a pretty memorable incident when we went to watch the fireworks at the merlion park.

This year, we took NR8 home and the journey was pretty held up by the traffic along clarke quay where there were plenty of party-goers strolling around the roadside waiting to get a cab to go home or head on to their next party destination. While I was on the bus with zx, i thought that i was having a good time listening to music on my mp3, looking at the sights around (at the people - their actions, dressing) and also humming to the tunes... hahahah... i thought that i may have been slightly noisy... hahaha... though zx mentioned that i wasn't....

Though the new year eve hadn't been too exciting, but i still think it's ok.... maybe cause i'm a boring person who kinda enjoys slightly less noise and peaceful ambience... but as i'm blogging first entry... my nose is also quite runny.... As we have ushered in the new year, next huge event coming up would be the Lunar new year due in 5 weeks time... which is gonna be real quick.... I still have to shop around for new year clothes and all... and also time to plan the activities on Lunar New Year holidays... my parents have already booked their holidays in Genting Highland where they would try out their new year luck at the Casino... hahahhaha.....

Probably... i'll try watching a midnight movie show for the first time... heheheh.... kinda sad to say that i haven't watch any midnight show before given my present age.... hahahha....

Haven't made my new year resolution and i still wonder what was my previous resolution... hahahah... but i just hope that i can get a switch in working environment and a better one... where there's less stress... hahhaha.... Next week, i'll start on my jap lessons at Bunka... Can't wait for them to start.... Although this is not my first time learning japanese... but i'm still kinda excited and wonder what to expect.... = )

Hope that i'll have a great year ahead and also to my friends and ppl reading my blog now... hehheheh...

Quick update... X'mas is here again....

This is the 2nd post in the december and it appears to be the final update for the month.

The most recent event was the department's X'mas dinner. The dinner was held at a restaurant somewhere off tanjong pagar, the food was kinda salty and some bland but overall still edible. The atmosphere was pretty interesting and there were a couple of interesting games... but because there were quite a lot of gas, the games played was slightly becoming to be a bit boring... but nevertheless it was still a pretty fun X'mas dinner. One thing to say was that it was the first time that i stayed at the department's X'mas dinner till the end after most of the crowd had left.

Next event was the shopping trip that i had with zx on saturday, the aim of the shopping though was to shop for x'mas gifts. In the end, i bought a pair of shoes, an anime magazine and received a pair of pants from zx as my birthday present. hahhaha... As for the anime magazine, this time round, i bought the Newtype Romance magazine. There was also a free gift from the magazine which is a plastic book cover with kyou kara maou's picture.... it's kinda small and reminded me of a passport holder..... The shoes that i bought was the pair that i had wanted to buy like a few weeks/month ago cos i like the design but had no shoe size for me then. Since i saw it again at BHG, i decided to buy it... hahahah....

Next few events that happened were the farewell parties of the few colleagues that had left, and there's a few more to come in the coming year as well. hehz... it seems that i'm still only one left in my clique that haven't tendered in and thus unable to fulfill the KPI of the group... hahhaha... Nevertheless, me still trying to find a job before i tender. hahahha... although i'll need to go through 1 peak before i go i guess. hehheh.....

Well, as today's x'mas eve, will be going out with zx in the evening... but wonder what kind of x'mas sights or x'mas mood will be felt... hehhhe...

New anime magazine

Today, while me and zx were at Liang Court to visit Audio House and also Kinokuniya, i've decided to buy a japanese magazine called Prince Animage' at Kino. See pic below:
Basically this magazine is about Anime princes.... hahhha... and it's full of anime bishies pictures. It was my first time purchase of the magazine. Although i could understand from the front cover that there's gonna be a list of animes that's going to be introduced in the magazine... i din really know that the whole book was essentially a pictures with loads of pictures that could be scanned in for use as wallpaper... hahahha... it's quite a find... and this issue it seems, there's a freebie (shitajiki for La Corda d Oro). But a problem that i haven't been able to resolve is the issue no of this magazine that i bought... hahahah.... can't seem to be able to decipher which mth's issue is this magazine... but nevertheless... it's an interesting buy.... i'll try to find some time to scan in those nice pics...
Actually at the magazine area, there's another magazine that caught my eye i.e. Phash. The magazine is supposedly an anime magazine for the girls and ladies... and from the covers of the verious magazine issues... it seems that the magazine is introducing animes that caters for girls and ladies... technically i think would be animes that are filled with bishies or be romantic dramas that have plots that attract the ladies.. hahah.... Will try to buy 1 copy next time and see what the magazine is about... and if there are nice animes... probably will introduce them on my blog too... heheheh...

Finally... jap lessons

This saturday... finally made a trip with zx to take a look at various japanese schools located in Orchard area namely ikoma and bunka.... Though i haven't attended either of the schools... but have friends that have attended this two schools... so i have a bit of understanding of how the school does their teaching... in the end, i've signed up for the lesson at bunka... though i've studied japanese for 2 semesters in NTU, i've decided to start at elementary 1 level at bunka... the school teaches all 6 forms of word conjugation in elementary 1... thus i've decided to start picking up my japanese from there... though i haven't been actively using and studying japanese these 2 years... but think i'll be able to pick up soon.... but lesson will only start next year in jan... so hopefully by end of next year i'll be able to take my jlpt lesson and pass them safely... heheh heheh...

At the same time today, me and zx went to the singtel shop near my place to get zx's new phone. After much consideration, zx decided to get sony ericsson's w910i in havana bronze, the one promoted by wang lee hom at the moment and changed his current phone plan to the mio plan. Currently the phone's still at my place charging up... hahhha...

10 years

This thursday, in addition to being Deepavali - the festival of lights for Hindu Singaporeans, it is also special day for me and zx as it's our 10th year anniversary.... The previous nite, we already had a good feast at New york new york.. stuffing ourselves with calamari as appetisers, sphagetti and pizza, and not to forget an ice cream mudpie... hahhaha...

I'm still quite stuffed and not to mention on thursday, while on the bag hunt for zx, we had a late lunch at Beach road at around 2... had a bit of long john at 5 and took away 2 KFC cheesy melts for dinner at around 8 plus.... it's again a stomach fulfilling day.... hahahha.. Another surprise i had from zx was that he bought me the fossil watch i had been looking at for maybe the past 2 months... hahah...

here's a pic of it..:

Nice watch design eh?... hehehehe

But me haven't been a nice gf... i din get zx any gift yet.... hehz.... well... i'll make it up to him.... heheeheh...

It's really come a long way... for me and zx to have been together for 10 years already.... it's pretty amazing and our relationship hadn't been all too smooth-sailing.. though friends have always expressed their admiration for our long-lasting relationship... it really takes a lot of effort to maintain... be it tolerating each other's faults and bad habits or having a good time together...

I guess... sometimes it's not always a must to have romantic settings but rather the company and care that one shows whenever the other is in need of care or attention... heheheh Although i do believe that it's always to be in sync with your loved ones, where both persons are pursuing the same philosophy and ideologies in life... it's always easier to communicate thoughts and to seek understanding from each other... probably there'll be less conflicts.... less arguements is always better... hahah.. cause i do believe that whenever we argue... we tend to say those things that we would usually not say and they all end up pretty hurting to the other parties... so no quarrels but more heart to heart talk is better....

While it's quite impossible not to have disagreements... it's always the manner of resolving these disagreements that would either make or break the relationship... so i would advise anyone that is in a relationship to resolve their disagreements in the best way that they can resolve where they can reach a common understanding of what are the differences of expectations by each other....

So, hope everyone else can benefit a bit from my advice... heheeh

Quick catch up

Another quick catch up on the events in my life so far....

Last week, I attended zx's friend's birthday bbq party at Labrador park. Cos i only knew zx's friend and zx's friends who knew here... i was kind of out of place... not knowing anyone else... so i was pretty quiet. Because it was held at Labrador park, me and zx had to lobang his friend's car to go in. Frankly, if i had to walk out from the park at night... it would have been quite scary... hahahah......

Anyway, though the park may have been quite remote to those who don't drive... there are still quite a few people having bbq in the park, strolling by the seaside with their family... quite a nice relaxing atmosphere.....

And guess what, yesterday i just heard from zx that this friend is going to get married next year... wow... really fast... cos the couple had only got together for abt half a year despite knowing each other for a longer time.... hehehhe....

Friday night was the night where i finally attended jc friends' gathering... i had previously missed the one before due to work committment i think.... seriously i have a bad memory.... and this time round, other than gathering to get-together, we also celebrated Nana's birthday... heheheh.. though it was belated.... Again, it's an update of each other's status and happenings around and to them.... Glad to hear that Nana is seeing someone... and that yun and val have got their tix to watch Jay Chou in concert in Singapore.. and that the ticket sales had been really good... ~80% sold at the priority sale... hahhaha....

This week, zx also confirmed his new job which he will start on 5 Nov.. 2nd week from now.... and since his job is confirmed... we can finally start to plan for the japanese lessons that i've been talking about since i graduated........ since he only has a 5-day work week.... now that everything is in place.... i'm starting to have lots of thinking... about my job/career and where i should start thinking of where to go.....

Xuan has mentioned that she had read somewhere that the next 2 years will be a tight period for employers.. i.e. the job demand is higher than the labour supply.. and so the conclusion would be... for the next 2 years..it's going to be a job-hopping year i think... turnover would be high or higher than usual for the companies.... And so, at this point, i'm feeling sian of what i'm doing and precisely i feel sian and there's a huge premonition of the amount of shit coming... i'm thinking whether i should try to get another job... but when and what... i'm still confused..... hehz....

update again....

Just a quick update on my recent day to day operations...

Let's start with the most recent news.

Today had been a shopping for gift day where me and zx had to search for a birthday gift for his university friend. His friend had invited us to a birthday bbq to be held on next saturday and at Labrador park. Since we couldn't attend the bbq without bringing anything, we had to get her a gift. As zx isn't exactly very close friend with her, we had some trouble thinking of what to get for her... so in the end, we decided to get her a pair of earrings... We had tried many places to get a pair of nice earrings that is not too cheap or too expensive to present as a gift... At the end of the day, after wondering from Orchard to Bugis, we finally got the gift...hahhah... As it's Hari Raya, there was sale at the department store. At the same time when we got the gift for the friend, i also managed to get myself a new ring..hahaha....

During the training on thurs and friday, i heard from xb that he got a girlfriend whom he was going out for about 2 months le... what a shock! hahahah... afterall, for what i know, he hadn't made many moves to court the girl whom he appreciated during university days...hahha.... but nevertheless, it's good news.... just had a brief description that his girlfriend was a colleague from another unit... but since we did not have much time during training to talk... all the usual interview questions whenever a new couple was formed had to be withheld to the next gathering we will plan to have... hahaha.... wonder how long we'll take to arrange the gathering...hehehe...

Work wise... it's been the same.. and on another note, two of my colleagues had officially left the firm. And next week, there'll be another departure... hehz.....

Well, will update again soon... Back to work... hehz
